Private Employers Add 176,000 Jobs In August

House Republicans have crunched the numbers and say that since President Obama took office, the economy has added seven times more part-time jobs than it has created full-time jobs.

Since January 2009 the country has added a net total of 270,000 full-time jobs, but it has added 1.9 million part-time jobs, according to the House Ways and Means Committee.

The numbers come as Republicans argue that the president’s health care law is pushing businesses to save money and push workers into shorter schedules to avoid the penalties that come from hiring more full-time workers, who under the law will be required to be covered with health care insurance.

The true indicator of economic growth is our GDP.  Unfortunately it only grew by 1.4 percent annualized rate in the first seven months of this year. That's down from 2.5 percent over the same period in 2012. This isn't just a statistic. It's the falling pulse rate of the U.S. economy that has hurt millions of Americans and their families who are either unemployed or underemployed.  7 out of 10 jobs created over the past four years were low-paying, part-time jobs in the service area.
 
We are losing significant ground in the trade deficit and investors losing interest in Treasuries.  That’s a warning sign that can’t be ignored.
 
It looks like things are getting…even worse.

I would never expect you guys to say a good thing about Obama, but an improving economy cannot be denied. By the end of 2015 the Republicans are going to look like complete idiots and Hillary will have an easy path to the White House. If the Republicans had any brains they would put Jeb Bush up against her, but they don't have any brains.

Maybe you should see what happens in the next couple of weeks before you make your predictions.

But you can’t argue with the facts… there are plenty of part time McDonalds jobs out there. Pay no attention to economic indicators.

The United States has fallen in the global economic competitiveness rankings compiled by the World Economic Forum for four years in a row. I know…that’s Bush’s fault.


Obama has a number of topics that make the rounds to keep the emotions running and the liberals just eat it up.

Hispanics: keep the flame burning on immigration.
Blacks: keep the flame burning on racial oppression.
Whites: keep the flame burning on middle class jobs.
General public...keep the flame going on various oppressors (Republicans, Christians, Big business) and how you are their victims…just like poor Obama.

It's a never ending cycle for Obama. Continue to campaign and make promises then blame some other group as obstructionist to his vision. Obama's ramblings amount to nothing more than fact less (not to mention mindless) propaganda.

His supporters fail to see he his nothing but a puppet to the corporatists.

Obamacare- adds 30 million people to the system (including soon to be legal aliens) and your healthcare will be cheaper and better. Yeah sure it will be.

Immigration - Bring in workers who will work for less in an economy that does not have enough jobs for the people we have here legally. That sounds like a good idea.

Regulation - Kill small business and manufacturing jobs by taxing and regulating them out of business, both combined resulting in even more competition for jobs which leads to lower pay. All cheaper labor for his big business cronies.

Syria- Using up military assets that must be replaced, big defense contractor spending…once again Obama helping out his big business buddies

The funny part is Obama lovers think he is looking out for them.

It's quite ironic that the only part of the economy that Obama's actions were able to improve, was the firearms industry.  

Young people, single women, and minorities have fared the worst the past 4 years...

guess who they voted for.

Obama and the Democrats turned the Presidential Elections into American Idol. It was an historic election by studio audience vote. The lowest common denominator voted for their rock star. Too bad we actually needed a leader.

The Russian’s are sending an anti submarine warship along with destroyers to the Mediterranean as we speak. We are moving the USS Nimitz Carrier Group into place as well. Don't be so pretentious to think that we will be unaffected on the continental United States. We don't know what Russia intends on doing; however, we know they are capable of striking us hard.

Who do we have to represent us? Last year’s American Idol winner. No I don’t believe Americans voted with their heads.

The voters overwhelmingly spoke last November, much to your frustration. Some people just don't like losing, and it has a very bad effect on the country. Obama has repeatedly demonstrated his leadership skills, which are obviously much better than his predecessor's!

It's really a shame that the Republicans are trying to drive the country off the rails in an effort to show up Obama. The guy still won, and so will Hillary!!  

The left's president is in over his head and we the people shall pay the consequences.

Why don't you run for President?  I'd like to see you fix all the problems in this world by becoming the Commander and Chief of the United States or any other nation.

If you think that there is a human being that could satisfy all of your Criticisms, then you are not living in the real world. Conservatism, Liberalism,  Communism, Socialism, Fascism, authoritarianism, ism, ism and more isms are all Political Ideologies.  Take your pick, what do you want all of us humans to be?

Go for it, run the world or find a land mass with all the people who you think have achieved political perfection.
