News from Chevy Volt...
Here’s the good news about the ObamaCar known as the Chevy Volt: There haven’t been any reported fires connected with the ObamaCar since the company recalled 8,000 of the electric vehicles—that’s one in six vehicles. That is no fires, if you don’t count the people who’ve been “fired” from the Volt production line as sales continue to make Obama’s “one million” electric car promise just another broken dream in a crooked scheme. Obama promised that by the time he finished as president, he’d put a million electric cars on the road. Thankfully, he won’t quite make it.

Re: News from Chevy Volt...
The Volt I'm thinking of is a combination electric-gas vehicle and is a great car. If the commuter's round trip is less than 40 miles the car will get about 120 MPG. The driver then plugs the car into a regular 120V-20AMP circuit when he/she gets home, and pays about $30 more a month for electricity. Nice looking car too! It would be nice to only have to gas up once every 2 months!

I don't think gas is expensive, and you make a good argument for the Northern Pass! You want the lights to come on when you throw that switch, unless of course you live by candlelight and wood burning stove!!

Chevy still has 6,000 unsold last-gen Volt hybrids
The 2016 Chevy Volt promises to be a much better hybrid than its predecessor, with a lower price and better performance... and unfortunately for GM, that improvement might be hurting sales of the outgoing model.
The Detroit Free Press reports that there were roughly 6,000 unsold 2015 Volts as of April, or more than twice the 2,779 that sold in the first four months of the year. Sales are down 46 percent versus the same period a year ago, and dealers appear willing to make some serious concessions to clinch a deal.
