OBAMA should be out in front of all these scandals.  He should be on TV every day demanding answers, demanding accountability and demanding transparency.  If Obama is not involved, an investigation would PROVE his innocents and out the people behind these crimes.  Obama should be the #1 advocate for the investigations...but once again he is absent.

”newsbuzzard” wrote:Accusations that reek of partisanship are not credible, Outerlimits. There is no proof that any targeting by the IRS (if it was in fact targeting or not just clerical categorizing) came from the White House.

So any accusation that involves a political party of wrongdoing is not credible…how convenient.  The Inspector Generals report disagrees with your assertion that there is no proof of targeting by the IRSThe IRS already apologized for their actions and Obama condemned them as well.  The investigation will show how high up this goes.  Now who is it that is obstructing here?  Don’t you believe we should find out?

”newsbuzzard” wrote:Congress says Holder lied about the Rosen case. He said he wasn't interested in prosecuting Rosen or anyone in the media, but rather using the information to find the source of the leaks. There is no lie if the unintended consequence was a prosecution of Rosen.

If that is true, then he Holder lied to a Federal Judge to obtain the warrant.  See how this works?

”newsbuzzard” wrote:A week before Lois Lerner appeared before Issa's kangaroo committee, a congressman on Camp's committee said at public hearing that she lied to Congress. (perjury is a felony) What choice did she have a week later when she appeared before Issa's committee, but to take the 5th. I'm very surprised that you, Outerlimits, conclude that taking the 5th is presumptive evidence of guilt. Nothing is further from the truth in America, and you know it.

You are missing the point, I never said she was guilty (I don’t know if she is) but someone committed a crime and she refused to answer to hide her own guilt or cover/ make a deal for immunity.  If there was no crime, no need to take the fifth and no need for immunity.  Don’t you think that those who are guilty should be brought to justice?

”newsbuzzard” wrote:Issa insists at a coverup at Benghazi, and that we let the Americans die without any attempt at rescue, but every credible person, including former Secretary of Defense, Robert Gates, stated that a rescue was impossible. That investigation will go nowhere.

It still does not explain WHO put out the talking points out there and WHO gave the stand down order.  We know there was never a protest in Benghazi.

”newsbuzzard” wrote:I fully believe that there is fundamental, race based hatred for Obama throughout this country, hence all of these frothing at the mouth investigations.

I believe when one has nowhere else to turn, they play the race card.  51% of the country voted for a man without a resume.  Obama’s promises sounded good but he has failed to deliver on most of them.  Before you jump into the…”but the republicans blocked him at every turn speech”.  The first thing he promised was to unite this county. That was just the beginning of his LONG list of failures.

Now he has begun to unravel the trust of the 51% that voted him into power.  He has permanently damaged his legacy and the trust the people have in their government.  If you believe this bodes will for Democrats…you simply are not listening.

You're still getting nowhere with all of the investigations, and they're not moving the needle much with the public. The whole birther fiasco was all about racism, back when folks used to call Obama the village idiot from Kenya! Well, the village idiot won reelection, 332 electoral votes to 206, so now the Republicans are going to try and investigate his second term away. It's all about making things better for the American people! Rolling Eyes

NB, this is so typical of you.  You only choose to tell half of all the stories, the one half you like.  Although Obama won the electoral vote handily, the popular vote was very close.  You have repeated this story about Obama's landslide so many times, I think it is now time for you to tell the whole story.  But since you won't, I will.  Here it is:

President Obama ended up crushing Mitt Romney in the Electoral College vote, soaring above 300 electoral votes when he needed just 270 for re-election.
But the popular vote was insanely close.
With 75 percent of precincts reporting, Obama held a razor-thin lead:
Obama 49,596,414
Romney 49,557,024

Just before that, with 73 percent reporting, Romney actually held a lead in the popular vote.
Obama ended the night with 332 electoral votes to Romney's 206. But the popular vote was shaking out like this as final counts were made:
Obama 58,699,931
Romney 56,453,562

As Romney delayed the president's victory speech by delaying his concession, the closeness of the popular vote may have factored into his camp's decision to delay the inevitable.

This is from "Heavy" whatever that is, but you can find it anywhere.

Close don't count in presidential elections, WHL. Obama got 65,899,660 votes. Romney got 60,932,152 votes, or nearly 5 million less:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_presidential_election,_2012

Look at the states on the chart, and you'll notice that the red states didn't have many electoral votes, while the blue states did. Either way, Obama won easily!

Here is the breakdown by race: (in percentages)

      Race                                                                 Obama                                   Romney

      White                                                                  39                                          59

      Black                                                                   93                                          6

      Hispanic                                                              71                                          27

      Asian                                                                 73                                          26

      Other                                                                  58                                          38

As you can see, the party of the "old white guys" really has to re-tool itself. America is changing!

If you voted this election season, President Obama almost certainly has a file on you. His vast campaign database includes information on voters’ magazine subscriptions, car registrations, housing values and hunting licenses, along with scores estimating how likely they were to cast ballots for his reelection. wrote:—Washington Post

Thanks Pigeon,

I just turned in my first political dissidents, and I have to admit, it felt GOOD. Very Happy

Here is what I sent them:

Dear White House Snitch Line,

I would like to bring to the White House’s attention a large source of disinformation on the healthcare reform legislation.  These individuals have admitted that they did not read any of the proposed legislation, but have made promises and guarantees about Obamacare for years now and as it turns out, most of their statements are not true.  Their names:  Barack, Joe and Nancy along the rest of the boneheads that signed it into law.

Here is just a sample of the “fishy” things they have said:

No family making less than $250,000 a year will see any form of tax increase.
Obamacare will cut the cost of your health insurance premiums by $2,500/year.
Obamacare will not increase the deficit.
If you like your doctor, you will be able to keep your doctor.
If you like your health care plan, you'll be able to keep it.
Obamacare will cost less than a trillion over the fist 10 years.

There are many, many more but…you get the idea.

Yours truly,
