It sure is hot. And my hair is still wet from a swim!

Re: Hot
You know our's was too! And we have the newer plastic wood that is usually cool to your feet. I don't remember it being that hot ever before. Looks like today is another one. I am hot already. I have to say I love it though.

You must be indoors!WHL wrote:What a difference, huh? It is almost cold this morning.
Except for a coupla days, we could've said, "This was a Winnipesaukee Summer without sun!"
Miami, on the other hand, states that they average only three days a year without sunshine.
Re: Hot
Yep, indoors. And now it is raining. Lovely.

Re: Hot
THe way it is pouring this morning, it makes you want to sleep. But I have company so I can't sleep and if I didn't have company, I wouldn't be on vacation, and then I would have to work. And if I didn't have to work, I couldn't sleep anyway, just because I can't.

True, good news for those who don't like the heat.

Not long, I expect. But we will take advantage of it while we can!

Today, Thursday, it's 50 degrees—chilly—but expected to be partly sunny and reach 75.WHL wrote:Not long, I expect. But we will take advantage of it while we can!
Maybe use my brand-new pressure washer to "de-slipperize" our algae-impregnated decks.
Yesterday, after finally locating Lowe's hardware in Rochester, I ended-up at Johnson's in New Durham for a 5-PM meal of their always-delicious broiled Haddock, and bumped—totally and unexpectedly—into my Florida neighbors!
Re: Hot
Small world.
I hope it doesn't end up raining. Tomorrow does sound like all day clouds with showers. So sick of this pattern this summer.

Re: Hot
Yep, sounds like today is going to be good. Tomorrow sounds mostly cloudy with showers in the afternoon, don't you think?

Sunday the 28...
"Today
A 40 percent chance of showers, mainly after noon. Areas of fog before 10am. Otherwise, increasing clouds, with a high near 72. East wind 5 to 15 mph. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible."
Maybe not such a good day for sailing.
Their wind-forecasting tends to be on the low side.
Re: Hot
Yep, I heard someone else say that, not a good sailing day. Great in the broads for regular boats though. Only other boat waves to contend with.
Today isn't so nice. Oh well, what can we expect?

Re: Hot
It was nice enough this morning for a boat ride, but now is much cooler. I saw you out there, NH. Not much wind, huh? I hope our wake didn't bother you.

The Sun Was Out...
I don't mind too little wind when the sun is out—and we had a lot of sun until you went boating!
There were wakes that "bothered" me, but yours weren't among them (in intensity). Most wet wakes come "out of the blue". (Powerboats that I tend to ignore).
The height of my day—I stopped in to say hello to Steve Wingate.
We speak "regularly".

LOL, of course, when we go out, it clouds up!! Actually we did get some dim sun so it was pretty nice. It was later this afternoon before it got really cloudy and windy. The wind has a bite!
Glad our wake didn't bother you.
Is Steve selling his place or keeping it? Or don't you know?
