Sailing While Hungry—
No...wait...
Reminds me of RV vacation trip my family took—where a school bus stopped for lunch. 'Handed over were 25 "free" apples.
Comments?

No, it floated "right-side up", and appeared to be a tasty Fuji. so I picked it up to see if it was to be "lunch" that day. (You'll do much that's extraordinary—when you're hungry).
The 25 apples were from school kids on an environmental-outing in a National Park. That was part of their lunch that would have been thrown away that day. That side of my family had seen much deprivation in Europe. (That you wouldn't believe).

No, but thinking about it later, I should have cut off the non-eaten side.
A "Winnipesaukee-Rinse" wouldn't be a bad thing. The waters were good and rated "Class-A" not very long ago—plus, Wolfeboro could do well to draw its water from Lake Winnipesaukee. (As proposed).
Re: Sailing While Hungry—
I would have eaten the good side of the apple. Floating on lake winni for a while made the apple a lot cleaner then when you buy one from the store.
Fuji apples are real good. I peel the skin off the seeds and eat them also. My aunt made me do that when I was a little boy and I have liked them ever since. They say apple seeds are good for your heart and brain.

This Lake Trout was fresher than any fish you could get at the aforementioned Johnson's Restaurant: it hurt to (maybe) "feed the eagles".
