Americans wish they had elected Romney
And this is a CNN poll!!!!!
Americans really wish they had elected Mitt Romney instead of Obama

Mitt Romney 2014?
Americans are so down on President Obama at the moment that, if they could do the 2012 election all over again, they'd overwhelmingly back the former Massachusetts governor's bid. That's just one finding in a brutal CNN poll, released Sunday, which shows Romney topping Obama in a re-election rematch by a whopping nine-point margin, 53 percent to 44 percent. That's an even larger spread than CNN found in November, when a survey had Romney winning a redo 49 percent to 45 percent.
Two years ago, Obama won re-election with about 51 percent of the vote.
Of course, the poll should be taken with a grain of salt. While Obama is actually taking on the tough task of leading the nation, Romney is sitting comfortably on the sidelines. Still, the finding comes as foreign and domestic crises have sent Obama's approval rating tumbling back to 40 percent, per Gallup.
Also in the CNN survey, a record-low 46 percent say Obama "shares [their] values," while only 49 percent say he is "sincere in what he says," also a record-low. - - Jon Terbush

Maybe we did, but voter fraud is difficult to prove, and usually too late to prosecute.

WHL left out the second part of that poll, where Romney loses to Hillary 55% to 42% in 2016! I wonder if Mitt will go for the Hat Trick? (as in 3 time loser):

Re: Americans wish they had elected Romney
If Romney had been elected, we wouldn't be seeing the graphic photos coming from "The Islamic Caliphate" (formerly ISIS or ISIL). The Caliphate has taken over the northern part of Iraq, sending Christians out of Mosul (under penalty of death). The US' former allies are lined up in ditches for machine-gunning, and much of the populace driving on the roadways are machine-gunned indiscriminately. Don't make me show the graphic photos. Here, The Caliphate moves to a new city to terrorize, with no IEDs to impede their progress, and driving captured HumVees:

Liberals voted for this disastrous administration, now they want somebody else to fix it.
Just like Obamacare. The Democrats dumped this monstrosity on America without reading it. They consistently lied about it and then cry foul because the Republicans are not offering to fix it.
What would Romney do? Well, had we elected him, we would have found out.
Obama had no experience in governing or running anything, he was supposed to learn on the job. What we see in this country and our interest around the word are the consequences of electing a man unsuited for the job.

Re: Americans wish they had elected Romney
That doesn't do anything to answer my question..."what would Romney do differently that would've avoided the situation with ISIS in Iraq?"
If NH can't answer that maybe you could try? If so, try to put the hyperbole aside and just present the facts...what would Romney have done differently?

Re: Americans wish they had elected Romney
What we have seen in Iraq, Russia and the Boarder could have been avoided. All these crises are a direct result of Obama’s action and inactions.
In Iraq:
Obama should have negotiated to leave troops in place –he did not.
Obama drew the red line in Syria and then did not follow through. – Projection of weakness.
Obama could have attacked ISIS when they breached Iraq’s boarders and they were vulnerable and out in the open for days – Obama did nothing.
Russia:
Obama could NOT have told the Russians he would have more flexibility after the elections.
Obama drew the red line in Syria and then did not follow through. – This showed weakness.
Obama could have not dismantled the European Missile Defense System – Again showed weakness.
Our Southern Boarder:
Obama should not have been advertising amnesty. (Dangled the carrot)
Obama should not be advertising food stamps south of the boarder.
Obama lied to us telling Americans the boarder is secure.
While I am no fan of Romney, he touched upon most of these topics and warned of the severe impact each would have. Obama mocked him for it.

Congress wouldn't approve any action in Syria...
Would you really think the American people would go for another round of war in Iraq?
He negotiated in good faith w/ Putin, too bad Putin's a thug! The sanctions are working and the expanded sanctions will work even better. Would you have us in another 40 yr "cold war" with Russia?

Maybe Congress could resolve this whole mess by redoing Bush's amnesty for children law that was passed in 2008..Our Southern Boarder:

You left out Libya, which is falling to "rebel factions".
0bama did "something".
(Reuters) - A huge fuel depot in Libya's capital burned out of control on Monday, set ablaze in fighting between rival militias that has driven the country to chaos three years after the NATO-backed revolt that toppled Muammar Gaddafi.
Combat over control of the nearby airport forced firefighters to withdraw, abandoning their attempts to extinguish the blaze ignited by a missile strike that hit millions of litres of fuel.
Foreign governments have looked on powerless as anarchy sweeps across the North African oil producer. Western countries have urged their nationals to leave, shut their embassies and pulled diplomats out, after two weeks of clashes among rival factions of former rebels killed nearly 160 people in Tripoli and the eastern city of Benghazi.
The Netherlands, the Philippines and Austria on Monday prepared to evacuate diplomatic staff. The United States, United Nations and Turkish embassies have already shut operations after the worst violence since the 2011 uprising? .
Uprisings?

Is that the name the Media now uses for Obama's "Arab Spring"?[/b]

Re: Americans wish they had elected Romney
Your knowledge of “facts” seem to be limited to the Whitehouse press releases. Even the main-stream media is laughing at their excuses.
No he didn’t. Obama said during a debate with Romney that he was not in favor of leaving troops in Iraq. Obama didn’t negotiate in good faith with Maliki and did not offer close to the amount of troops needed. (we debated this before)
Congress did not draw the ‘Red Line”, Obama did in spite of his revisionist history.
It would have been less involved than the attacks in Libya. Air-strikes only (drone and conventional) it would have been over in hours not days. ISIS was in the middle of the desert for days with no cover and no place to hide.
You can’t negotiate in good faith with a shark. Romney knew this, Obama did not. Obama and his “reset switch” symbolized his lack of understanding of who he was dealing with. You can’t blame a shark for doing what sharks do, it’s in their nature, it’s what they are.
Once again you blame Congress and Bush for the actions Obama has taken. Obama dangled the carrot. Obama was the one pushing for amnesty.
Republicans in Congress want to amend the law, Democrats in Congress do not.
By the way...You do realize the Democrat controlled Senate is part of Congress don’t you?
You remember the Senate, the place where Harry Reid refuses to bring anything to a vote? The place where Harry Reid does not allow Republican amendments? He has over 160 bills in his desk sent over by the House and he won't bring them up for a vote.
Democrats are constantly decrying the lack of bipartisanship in Washington and blaming Republicans. Just maybe they would get a whole lot more cooperation if Democrat Harry Reid stopped serially, unilaterally blocking things that garner it.

Re: Americans wish they had elected Romney
You've spent a great deal of effort answering your own questions, now perhaps you or NH could answer my original question "what would Romney have done differently"? How would his approach in Iraq, Syria, Libya, Russia or our southern boarder been any different and how so? Try to stay focused and just tell me what Romney would have done in each scenario....

Re: Americans wish they had elected Romney
Obviously you didn’t ready my answers. These problems exist because of Obama’s actions and inactions. Under Romney these problems would not escaladed to the mess we have today.
If you asking how Romney (or any competent leader) would handle them today, well the answers are politically & financially challenging and undesirable on many levels.
The next President is going to have a really difficult time cleaning up the mess Obama has created.

As I suspected, you can only guess what Romney would have done differently and you've pretty admitted that this isn't an easy fix for anyone. When Bush/Cheney destabilized the middle east, some of us knew this would end up in an endless quagmire! The best we can do is stay out of the way and let them sort it out....

I was wrong—Obama's work is NOT done!

WASHINGTON — With Russian-backed separatists pressing their attacks in Ukraine, NATO’s military commander, Gen. Philip M. Breedlove, now supports providing defensive weapons and equipment to Ukraine’s beleaguered forces, and an array of administration and military officials appear to be edging toward that position, American officials said Sunday.

Harry Reid Will Not Apologize To Romney For Falsely Claiming He Didn't Pay Taxes
America's enemies made great strides with that assertation...
.
Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) has no intention of apologizing to Mitt Romney for his unsubstantiated accusation in 2012 that the former Republican presidential nominee didn't pay taxes for a decade.
"Oh, I have no repentance, because it was an issue that was important. The American people deserve to know," Reid told Univision's "Al Punto with Jorge Ramos" in an interview scheduled to air on Sunday. He said Romney could resolve the issue by releasing his tax returns, insisting that "someone who worked at Bain Capital, a couple people, told me he didn’t pay taxes."
