The article is all based on the assumption that wage growth will begin.
What about consumer confidence? American workers are still worried and the national and global economies do not look promising.
What about wage growth? Without wage growth, the consumption is not going to be there. The median income has dropped by more than $5,000 over the past 7 years. Consumers no longer have the disposable income or the credit to facilitate said grand consumerism.
We are bleeding wealth by $700B annually in trade deficit. We're propping up the economy through deficit spending and QE.
This article is just another Obama propaganda piece. The Whitehouse stated the economy is doing well even though the middleclass and the working poor don’t feel it. Is there any one dumb enough to believe this?
The top 1% are still well armed, but the middleclass, not so much.

The poor are looking for "clunkers", with which to commute to jobs.Outerlimits wrote:The Whitehouse stated the economy is doing well even though the middleclass and the working poor don’t feel it. Is there any one dumb enough to believe this?
Alas, the "clunkers" are gone.
