Democratic New Hampshire Sen. Jeanne Shaheen was jeered with cries of “Rude!” Sunday after she interrupted her Republican opponent Scott Brown’s closing debate remarks to make a statement about the Koch Brothers.
After Brown asserted that he was endorsed by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Shaheen butted in to call the Chamber a “Koch-funded organization.” Members in the crowd yelled “rude” at her. Brown received a round of applause moments later for criticizing Shaheen’s lack of decorum.
You know the Democrats are in a total meltdown when you see stuff like this. What an unhinged moonbat Shaheen is. I thought only rabid bloggers blathered on about the Koch brothers not sitting US Senators.

OMG, that is so funny. WE heard her on a talk show about a week ago and every single question she answered included a mention of the Koch brothers. She is really fascinated by them. We just couldn't believe it. We expected ONE answer with including them but nope….. LOL, LOL!!

Big Deal! Where was that? Brown is running against Obama, not Shaheen, and that will be his undoing!

I don't get it, why does NH want Brown to represent them? Strange, Strange, Strange.

Glad to hear you have been following this so closely. I take it you didn’t watch the debate.
Brown bested her & Blitzer at last debate. Shaheen keeping repeating big oil and the Koch Brother talking points. She has clearly has no original ideas, and I hope N.H. voters drop her for Brown. Do N.H. voters want Harry Reid as senate leader for a few more years? Even Blitzer couldn't help her win debate.
Most of the residents here in NH know by now that Shaheen is nothing more than an Obama lapdog and Nancy Pelosi "wannabe". She was a mediocre
Governor, at best, and has become a far-left ideologue since becoming Senator. Why would any sane, honest person vote for somebody who supports (votes with) Obama 99% of the time?
It's all those from Massachusetts that have crossed the border to escape the Peoples Republic of Massachusetts that have poisoned the state, especially the populous border towns. They are running from the out-of-control taxes but bring their politics with them.

I wouldn't waste my time watching a Johnny-come-lately carbetbagger debate our faithful 30 year public servant in Jeanne Shaheen, and I'm proud of her record in the governor's office and Senate. Fully 10 million people in this country, including thousands in New Hampshire, now have health insurance as a result of her work in the Senate. New Hampshire is Shaheen Country!!

Yes we have 30 years watching Democrats tell the same tired lies to successive generations comprised minds full of mush. You're a prime example.
As to my original point - I usually give a progressive enough credit to at least be able to educate themselves on the facts or at the very least read with comprehension. Looks like you've fallen short on both counts.
Tax revenues are at an all-time high. We don't have a revenue problem. We have a spending problem.
Who paid for that bridges and roads?
WE DID With money taken from us in the form ever- increasing taxes and those tax revenues have never been higher than they are right now both in NH and abroad. We hear 'Bammy & his pod-people supporters such as yourself whine on about "Roads & bridges", crumbling "infrastructure", yet even after the failed stimulus package for those shovel-ready infrastructure jobs & govt. coffers bulging with new revenues, the money never seems to make it to those sidewalks, streets, roads & bridges.
Healthcare is the same, “We need to get affordable health insurance for 30 million Americans lower premiums.” The Democrats pass it. We now have 42 million uninsured Americans, higher premiums and millions subsidized and millions more added to the public dole.
Leftists subsidize poverty and advocate for policies which discourage productive work, denigrate the profit motive and capitalism and then claim to be the champions and guardians of the very perpetual poverty class they've created.

There you go again regurgitating the liberal talking points. The Koch brothers talking point is nothing more than a lie the left has spewed over and over.
Koch Industries is just #59 on the list of largest political contributors with $16.2M.
That pales in comparison to the largest contributors who are all giving to Democrats.
These include:
AFSCME $60.7M,
SEIU $38.4M,
UAW $41.7M, AFT $36.7M,
Teamsters $36.7M,
AFL-CIO $30.9M.
The largest individual contributor is also a Democrat. Thomas Steyer with donations totaling $143 Million making the Koch brothers look like paupers.
The Koch brothers are hardly buying elections. A little perspective is needed on your part.
Shaheen was one of the 46 "treasonous Senators" who voted FOR un bill #2117, that, if passed, would require all member nations to CONFISCATE all firearms and weaponry from their citizens! Thankfully 54 "other Senators" voted against that bill.

That's just more crap from the right. That was an amendment to a budget bill early in the morning regarding a treaty! (which Obama had no intention of signing if it violated our Second Amendment)
Besides, the Second Amendment is not a blank check to carry a weapon. See Heller vs. DC!

What!!!!
Are you saying she didn’t read that bill either?
Why on earth would you believe Obama would not violate our Constitution?
Thanks for bringing it up by the way, Sheehen is also one of those who, blatantly, lied to the voters about "Obamacare", telling them "If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor and if you like your insurance plan, you can keep your insurance plan!" There must have been a "parrot" in the room, because that's exactly what Obama said.
As we know, you CAN NOT keep your doctor OR your insurance plan! Nor can YOU decide "what" kind of care you want, or meds you can receive- -the "unelected bureaucrats" insist on doing that FOR YOU.

Better to have a "parrot in the room" than "bats in the belfry" because that's exactly what the rest of your statement implies...everyone knows that the only policies that were dropped were the ones that had insufficient coverage....and in most of those cases new/cheaper policies replaced them.

That's the flat out truth, News Pigeon, thank you! They will never be able to get rid of Obamacare anyway.

Insufficient coverage by whose standards? While you might be fine with giving up your freedom to choose, why can’t you understand not everyone agrees with you?
News Pigeon wrote:...and in most of those cases new/cheaper policies replaced them.
Only if you were subsidized.
Back to the point.
Sheehan told New Hampshire voters they could keep there coverage and they could keep their doctor. She didn’t say if “we approve of your doctor and your coverage”.
The argument that government provides anything has become a little tired and frankly, nobody buys it except for the uninformed cut n' paste keyboard warriors that believe it gives them some type intellectual flair or delusional moral high-ground.
Here's a nugget that you'll come to realize as you mature:
"The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else."

How about the standards of the law? (which you'll never repeal)
Outerlimits wrote:Only if you were subsidized.
Anyone who has employer provided health insurance is subsidized! The premiums your employer pays for your insurance are not considered income for tax purposes.

Why can't you understand that some of us are tired of paying for others to go to emergency rooms for cold symptoms. It's time for everyone to pay something toward their healthcare, what you should be bitching about, is the way the medical profession over-charges us for every thing!!?News Pigeon wrote:...and in most of those cases new/cheaper policies replaced them.outerlimits wrote:Only if you were subsidized.
Not entirely true either!!! But, once again, we were most likely subsidizing those peoples emergency room healthcare anyway!

ODD
...that Brown would criticize Senator Shaheen on border security issues...
http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/post-politics/wp/2014/10/01/scott-brown-missed-all-border-security-hearings-in-senate-records-suggest/
and then there is this:
Former Massachusetts senator Scott Brown (R) has run several attack ads criticizing Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D-N.H.) for failing to secure the U.S.-Mexico border. But as a member of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, he missed all six hearings on border security that he was eligible to attend, records suggest.
http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/post-politics/wp/2014/10/01/scott-brown-missed-all-border-security-hearings-in-senate-records-suggest/
and then there is this:
Senate candidate Scott Brown: 'Do I have the best credentials? Probably not. Cause, you know, whatever.'
Former Massachusetts Senator Scott Brown (R) faces an uphill battle in his quest to return to Congress from neighboring New Hampshire. There's the obvious carpetbagger critique — he only recently moved his primary residence to the Granite State — and the fact that Brown was resoundingly booted by Massachusetts voters just two years ago. But Brown is doing himself no favors in making totally un-self-aware remarks like this one he gave to the Associated Press: "Do I have the best credentials? Probably not. 'Cause, you know, whatever. But I have long and strong ties to this state."

Why do people move away from crap-holes only to vote to turn the places they move to crap-holes?

From the same WP blog:
The Senate does not keep track of committee attendance. So they don't really know if he was there but they don't have a record of him speaking. Your article also points out Shaheen’s attendance is also questionable.
I am not a Scott Brown fan. He is basically a moderate Democrat. In contrast Shaheen is a progressive Democrat that supports Obama’s policies.
The most important thing to remember no matter what your thoughts are on the Republicans on the ballot, they are far better than the alternative. We must not allow Dingy Harry to continue to hold the Senate hostage while providing cover for the backside of the most corrupt administration this country has ever seen.
Harry HAS to go, so suck it up and vote (R) and put that lying, no-good SOB into the dust bin of political history.
If one thinks the Obamacare works well, the world is a safer place and this country is on the right track then one should vote for the democrat.
If one thinks Obamacare has not lived up to what it promised and the world is less safe and the country is on the wrong track then vote republican.
Also…
A company willingly paying for part or all of its employee’s healthcare premiums is not the same as the government forcing some taxpayers to pay for others healthcare.
The Senate does not keep track of committee attendance. While imperfect, reviewing transcripts and other records to see if lawmakers spoke provides the best assessment of whether they were present or not.

That's not fair to him, observantone. He DID grow up in NH. I bet you never said a word when Hillary moved to NY to run for the Senate. He has as much history in NH as Shaheen does. Surely you can find something with more substance to complain about.
