The Republican Senate had a chance
...to take some bold (no brainier) moves to protect the American people from the kind of thing that has become all too common. What did they have the chance to do you ask?
They had the opportunity to vote to ban the sale of guns to people on the No-Fly list and the FBI's Terror Watch list, as well as add felons and others who are already banned from buying guns to the NCIC list and close loophole in the background check law.
What did our Republican controlled Senate do on the day after the San Bernadino killings?
321 (48-50) Rejected

No. 2908; To protect Second Amendment rights, ensure that all individuals who should be prohibited from buying a firearm are listed in the National Instant Criminal Background Check System, and provide a responsible and consistent background check process. H.R. 3762 Dec 03

The AG would consider Rush Limbaugh a "Terrorist"...
The list would be endless.
