NFL star Aaron Hernandez seen going into home after gunshots: reports
New England Patriots star Aaron Hernandez was spotted on surveillance video walking into his suburban home just minutes after neighbors heard gunshots nearby, according to reports.
The residents told police they heard gunfire between 3 and 3:30 a.m. on the same day that Hernandez’s buddy Odin Lloyd was fatally shot, according to Fox 25.
The victim, a semiprofessional football player, was found dead in an industrial park about a half-mile from Hernandez’s home. Police told the station that Lloyd was killed near where he was found.
Separate surveillance videos show the tight end outside Lloyd’s home about an hour before the incident, and then walking into his own North Attleboro, Mass., home after the shots were heard, the station said.
ABC News said the murder was “execution-style.”
Meanwhile, cops who searched Hernandez’s home Tuesday plan to go there again with a new search warrant based on evidence that “he destroyed his home-security system,” an investigator told ABC News.
Law-enforcement sources said Hernandez’s security setup, which includes video surveillance, was smashed intentionally, ABC said.
Hernandez’s lawyers have turned over a cellphone — smashed “in pieces” — to investigators, sources said.
And in another odd coincidence, Hernandez hired a team of house cleaners to thoroughly clean his suburban Boston mansion Monday, law-enforcement sources told ABC.

Re: NFL star Aaron Hernandez seen going into home after gunshots: reports
The Massachusetts State Police announced that Hernandez was arrested shortly after they obtained a warrant for his arrest. The MSP tweeted that Hernandez is currently being booked at the North Attleboro Police Station and will be brought on Wednesday to Attleboro District Court for arraignment. The charge against Hernandez will not be released until it is presented to the court, the MSP announced.
NFL Network's Rich Hollenberg told NFL Network's "NFL AM" that three police cars, two of them unmarked, arrived at Hernandez's residence early Wednesday. As many as nine plainclothes police officers and two uniformed North Attleboro officers entered Hernandez's home, bringing Hernandez out about five minutes later. The tight end answered the door shirtless, but was taken away with a white T-shirt draped over his upper body, with his hands cuffed behind his back.

Re: NFL star Aaron Hernandez seen going into home after gunshots: reports
BRISTOL, Conn. — Investigators searching for the gun used to kill a semi-pro football player are looking into whether former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez asked his girlfriend to get rid of the weapon shortly after the victim's body was found about a mile from his home.
The Bristol Press reported Friday that search warrants for a Bristol storage facility suggest Hernandez may have instructed Shayanna Jenkins to take a gun safe or lock box out of his home in North Attleboro the day after the body of Odin Lloyd was discovered.
The warrants claim that Jenkins was seen on surveillance video footage carrying a rigid object the size of a lock box or safe out of the house and into the yard, before loading it into her sister's car. She allegedly asked to use the vehicle to go to the bank and returned home about 35 minutes later without the object.
