Inspector General Reports...
Top Homeland Official Accused of Political Favoritism
Top Homeland Official Alejandro Mayorkas Accused of Political Favoritism:
Deputy Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas tainted the image and integrity of the immigration program he oversaw by fostering “an appearance of favoritism and special access” in how the agency treated projects that would bring visas and Green Cards to wealthy foreign investors, a new report from the agency’s Inspector General says.
“The juxtaposition of Mr. Mayorkas’ communication with external stakeholders on specific matters outside the normal procedures, coupled with favorable action that deviated from the regulatory scheme designed to ensure fairness and evenhandedness in adjudicating benefits, created an appearance of favoritism and special access,” the Inspector General’s report concluded.
The DHS IG report specifically focused on allegations of special treatment afforded to a Las Vegas casino project championed by Sen. Harry Reid, then the Senate majority leader, and an electric car enterprise led by Terry McAuliffe, who is now Virginia governor, and involving Anthony Rodham, the brother of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

Re: Hillary's ethics
Hart, a two-time Democratic presidential candidate, offered his opinions in a phone interview Wednesday where he also expressed admiration of Elizabeth Warren and gave advice to prospective challenger Martin O’Malley, a former Hart campaign staffer.
“I like Hillary Clinton. I really appreciate what she and her husband have done … but we need new leaders,” said Hart, a former Colorado senator who rose from the bottom of the polls and nearly took down Walter Mondale in the 1984 primaries.
The post-Citizens United campaign finance environment has sullied the presidential process, he said, benefiting establishment politicians who cater to financial backers. He pointed to his own experience, noting that he and his wife mortgaged their home for between $50,000 and $75,000 — an amount that made a significant difference in his first campaign in 1984.
“I’m now told the Clinton campaign intends to raise $1 billion. Now, that ought to frighten every American,” he said.
The role of money in elections, the 78-year-old Hart said, is a driving force behind the current “dynastic” nature of American politics.
“If you’ve got to have a billion dollars to run for president, how many people can do that? Only the Clintons and the Bushes and one or two others,” he said.
“This country is 330 million people, and we should not be down to two families who are qualified to govern. … When you create dynastic networks, you shut a lot of people out,” he added.
Hart, who finished second to Mondale in the 1984 Democratic primary, said he has no doubt Clinton will get a primary challenger. And he argued that the challenger — whether it’s O’Malley or anyone else — should force Clinton to clarify her stance on key issues, something he says would be “therapy” for the party.
“The job of a challenger is to force specificity: Here is my plan, now let’s see her plan,” he said. Asked whether Clinton has not been adequately specific — he used the words “specific” or “specificity” 10 times in a half-hour interview — the former senator said she hasn’t been “pressed.”
His advice to prospective challengers to Clinton, like O’Malley? Be specific on policy, play up the generational divide and aggressively court small-money Internet donors.
Time and again, Hart spoke to the notion of 50 percent — the rough number of Democrats he says are not yet supporting Clinton for president. “If the polls say she has 50, there are 50 that she doesn’t have. … Why isn’t she at 95 percent?”

It is sad that money is so important to the race for any gov. seat but especially the presidency.

Re: Hillary's ethics
Hillary’s ethics?
Her moral compass makes Nixon look like a choir boy.
There is no questioning her ethics; she has none to speak of. The better question is: What will Hillary do to become President?
She will promise to expand entitlements.
She will promise to raise taxes on the millionaires and billionaires.
She will promise to make big business pay their fair share.
She will promise to preserve and increase the power of unions.
She will promise to protect the middle class…of course this promise cannot be kept if the first three promises are kept.
She will conduct personal attacks on the Republican candidate, whoever it is. Just like Obama’s minions did. With Mr. Romney, they went all the way back to his prep school days in Michigan to find stories of alleged bullying and talked a while about the dog riding on the top of his car. They made up stuff like “Romney hasn’t paid taxes in 12 years”. The democrats have proven they don’t care about lies, they don’t care about broken promises and they don’t care about ethics as long as the person has a D beside their name.
Hillary just needs to get over herself and go away. Our country will never get better as long as we keep slurpping up jello shots in dirty cups.
On a side note….
Hillary 47% - Rand 45% with a 3% margin of error.

HaHa!! Sorry, Outerlimits, but homophobia, misogyny, racism, voter suppression, war mongering and overall hatred of the poor and middle classes just won't get it done for the Republicans, just like it didn't get it done for Romney!! (twice)

A perfect example of the lies and personal attacks Hillary and her cohorts will attempt to during the upcoming elections.
It didn’t work last time for the Democrats and it won’t work this time either.
Hillary's BEST chance to win was actually 2008.
Now, she's 8 years older.
8 years dirtier.
8 years more corrupt.
8 years sleazier.
There is no empirical evidence to suggest Hillary that is mentally, physically, and ETHICALLY the best choice to be president. She's not. She's dirty, and while Democratic sycophants may not admit it, LOTS of other people are (finally) waking up to it.
What's most frightening about people like you is that you choose to look the other way on a long record of unethical behavior by Hillary by naively classifying it as "far-right fodder". That's simple intellectual dishonesty.

I'm fully aware that Bill and Hillary have skeletons in their closet, Outerlimits, and sometimes you seem to forget that I'm from New York. Your problem is that every clown in your circus is bat $hit crazy, in addition to having skeletons in their closets. You still don't get it!!

News to make that a prediction—and not a question!
Russia's Missing Article: Censorship, Prudence, Or A Win For Moscow's Troll Army?
MOSCOW -- For three straight days last weekend, the employees of the Novaya Buryatia newspaper in southern Siberia used scissors to remove an article from 50,000 copies of the weekly before it could be distributed.
The same article, which had been posted a few days earlier on the paper's website, was pulled down. (It can be seen in an archived file here.)
As a result, an article that was intended to clear up some mysteries involving alleged Russian military participation in the fighting in eastern Ukraine has itself become the center of a mystery: Is this a case of Soviet-style censorship? Or was it an example of the successful functioning of the Kremlin's notorious "troll army"?
"I think this is a case of censorship on the part of the security services because I have felt pressure from them myself," says Arkady Zarubin, a journalist with the Buryat newspaper Arshan. "They have tried in many ways to influence my publications and have even directly told me which ones shouldn't be published."
"I know for a fact -- they let it slip -- that they put pressure on other media, both print and Internet publications," he adds."

Bill and Hillary won't need to measure the windows for their second 8 year stint in the White House. I can't imagine any of the bumbling fools on the right mustering anywhere near enough votes to beat her. Next year won't be the mid-terms, where nobody showed up!

Poll: Rand Paul pulls ahead of Clinton
WASHINGTON — Hillary Clinton is now behind or tied with most major Republican hopefuls in three critical swing states, according to a Quinnipiac University poll out Thursday.
Her closest competitor in the poll – Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky – had an edge over Clinton in both Colorado and Iowa."

And ahead in five states—already.

Report: Hillary Lied About Grandmother’s Immigrant Status
Speaking in Iowa Wednesday, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said that all her grandparents had immigrated to the United States, a story that conflicts with public census and other records related to her maternal and paternal grandparents.
The story of her grandmother specifically immigrating is one Clinton has told before. Clinton’s sole foreign-born grandparent, Hugh Rodham Sr., immigrated as a child.
But it begs the question:
Is her lying the result of a concussion? Age? The PTSD she undoubtedly suffered while evading sniper fire in Bosnia? The stress of having to set up her own email server ALL BY HERSELF?
That really rough patch when she and Bill were Dead Broke?
Predictably, the NYT's insufferable apologist, Maggie Haberman, fell right on Hillary's grenade and claimed that Clinton "misstated" the origin of her grandparents.
Do we really want someone who apparently is as deceitful as Hillary in the White House?

New Book, ‘Clinton Cash,’ Questions Foreign Donations to Foundation
Watch Hillary move to overturn womens' issues in Arab countries.
The book does not hit shelves until May 5, but already the Republican Rand Paul has called its findings “big news” that will “shock people” and make voters “question” the candidacy of Hillary Rodham Clinton.
“Clinton Cash: The Untold Story of How and Why Foreign Governments and Businesses Helped Make Bill and Hillary Rich,” by Peter Schweizer — a 186-page investigation of donations made to the Clinton Foundation by foreign entities — is proving the most anticipated and feared book of a presidential cycle still in its infancy.
The book, a copy of which was obtained by The New York Times, asserts that foreign entities who made payments to the Clinton Foundation and to Mr. Clinton through high speaking fees received favors from Mrs. Clinton’s State Department in return.
“We will see a pattern of financial transactions involving the Clintons that occurred contemporaneous with favorable U.S. policy decisions benefiting those providing the funds,” Mr. Schweizer writes.
