The Republican-controlled House of Representatives passed a CR with the funds required to keep all government activities going, except for Obozocare.

The House of Representatives' holds the right to grant or withhold money. That is not a matter of opinion.

When Obozo claimed that it is some new outrage for those who control the money to try to change government policy by granting or withholding money, well that is simply another lie. He was counting on weak-minded people and the media not to call him on it.

Thank you, Senator Cruz!!! The House of Representatives can't make any decision on how the government spends it's money without the approval of the Senate and the President! After their foolish stunt of shutting down the government the House Republicans may now be looking at losing between 25 and 35 seats next year, which would put the Democrats in a good place to pass a reasonable budget through reconciliation. Screw the filibuster!!!

You are trying awfully hard to minimize and discredit Cruz. I think you are afraid of him or you would have already stopped talking about him.

One very positive thing we found out from the shutdown was how bloated this government really is. We are paying for a lot of dead weight. Everyone of the non-essentials should be moved to part time status and have to verify their worth. I wonder how many don't even know who they report to. It's time make sure everybody is accountable. From the top to the bottom. There is no honest reason to not have a chain of command.

Absolutely, it take TWO to make a shutdown. Obama refused to give at all and then kept saying it was the Repubs who wouldn't give.

It’s impossible to take you seriously when all you do is repeat the Democrat Party talking points and excuses.  It is inconceivable that anyone could be in lock-step with all things Obama, yet you are.   It is clear you believe both the Democrats and Obama are infallible and no amount of evidence will sway your everlasting devotion.   You are just the kind of clay politicians’ love.  

I found it comical yesterday when Obama took ZERO responsibility for the disastrous roll-out of his signature legislation.  He did however have time to take a shot at Republicans and tell people to stop wishing for the failure of Obamacare.  He is dismal excuse of a leader and a very little man.
