It's long, it's persistent, it's a form of SPAM—and it's inevitable.

 

I tried to trash it, and spent a couple of minutes in an attempt to do away with it.

What are you talking about?

I pay for an advanced Avast! program; however, a very long Facebook ad completely blanketed this forum yesterday.

Expect it to do the same to you—eventually.

Just endure it, is my advice.

Why would an anti virus program place a "Facebook" ad on your computer.

Get rid of Avast and download MicroSoft Security Essentials. It's free and the best anti virus program for your computer.

I'm still not sure what you are talking about but this is my best quess.

I am not getting it either.
