Why did Kderry have a face lift?

This picture of Kerry makes him look like he is dead with his eyes open.  This sounds kinda weird but doesn't he look like a person in a casket with his eyes open.  
I don't think I've seen anyone who looks normal after a face lift.

Anyway here it is:

I am not so sure it was a face-lift. The man has got to be 70. With the stress he has been under over the past 15 years, it might not be cosmetic.

He had something done.  Look at the difference, I don't think it's old age.  You get wrinkles when you get old, not a smooth mask like look.

Just like Hillary. They say she has Botox. Whatever it is, it isn't permanent because sometimes you see her and she looks a hundred and eighty and sometimes you see her and she looks well-50?
