Sanford, FL, is where the Autotrain arrives and departs.

You could fly Pease to Sanford, then take the Autotrain to Washington, DC.

I think it still starts in Sanford, but haven't taken either Autotrain or Amtrak--anywhere.

Funny, VP Joe Biden has his own Amtrak train to run between Washington and Delaware: because the run is to Delaware, and funded through Washington, he's often pictured alone!

I haven't either. They don't take dogs and pretty much where they can't go, I can't go.
