You remember Nate Silver?
Polling expert Nate Silver has come out with a new forecast: Republicans are currently favorites to take control of the Senate this fall...
He has predicted that Republicans are better than even odds to take back the Senate this November.

Re: You remember Nate Silver?
While nearly every poll definitively affirms that Democrats are in deep doo-doo come November...leftist talking heads like Chris Matthews have already conceded a likelihood that Republicans will take the Senate in the 2014 mid-term elections.

Let's hope the mainstream media isn't able to twist things around and change people's minds.

Re: You remember Nate Silver?
Nate Silver is the guy who most accurately predicted the presidential election results, and in fact got it right in all 50 states. When I was quoting his polling you were calling him a leftist and renouncing him, and now he is your polling hero! In this election he has stated that the media is over-hyping his predictions.
It doesn't mean a hill of beans if the Republicans take back the Senate! There are a couple of devices at the disposal of the Democrats and they are called the filibuster and the veto! Congress will remain just about as productive as it is now. The election you should really be concerned about comes in 2016!

Just a thought that came up on the Web yesterday:
"The problem with the world is that the intelligent people are full of doubt, while the stupid people are full of confidence."

Stupid people buy high and never recover on their investment!
Nate Silver's prediction are more like a 50/50 chance for the Republicans, who consistently look past Kentucky and Georgia!

I was full of doubt that Nazi Germany could drop an atomic bomb on Manhattan, but Hitler's plans show they were "thinking" about it!
There's much to learn about history, and just how easy it could be repeated.
