Colorado 2016 poll: Rand Paul beats Hillary Clinton
He also is the only GOP candidate who is polling ahead of her in PA and does well in OH: two critical "swing states" needed to win.

Have no fear though NB, you guys can rest assured the Stupid Party will nominate some dead-ender like Bush III and Hillary will win handily.

Sen. Rand Paul appears to be the man to beat in Colorado in 2016, a new poll says.
Colorado voters would favor the Kentucky Republican over former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton by 48 percent to 43 percent in a potential 2016 presidential race, according to a new Quinnipiac University poll.
Paul also has a higher favorability rating than the other three possible Republican presidential contenders listed in the poll — New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush.
Paul’s favorability ranking is 41 percent and his unfavorability ranking is 30 percent. Huckabee has a favorability rating of 37 percent and an unfavorability ranking of 30 percent. The other two GOP candidates both have higher unfavorability than favorability rankings.
For her part, Clinton scores 48 percent in favorability and 47 percent in unfavorability with respondents.
The poll comes as speculation is rising about the 2016 GOP presidential field and provides insight into a state that was crucial in the 2012 election.
The poll might also shed some light on where Paul could outflank his GOP counterparts — among young voters. While Clinton leads Bush by 21 points and Huckabee by 11 points among 18-to 29-year-olds, Paul matched the former secretary of state in the age group, with both scoring 43 percent.
Paul also had a strong edge against Clinton among respondents who identify as independent voters. 48 percent of independent voters favored Paul, while just 37 perfect favored Clinton.
The Quinnipiac poll was conducted April 15-21 with 1,298 registered voters on landlines and cell phones. The poll’s margin of error is plus or minus 2.7 percentage points.

The amazing thing is that he is leading in the polls DESPITE how much the media hates and berates him. Maybe people will finally wake up-no too much to ask.

I wouldn't take that poll too serious. Rand Paul has a problem with being interviewed! When he doesn't like the questions he walks off the set!

Both Ron- and Rand Paul's polls always appear inflated.
Perhaps Rand Paul can serve up a dinner for MSM reporters—like Hillary did, recently.

One can hope.
This will be fun, once again, you'll see the old, entrenched, establishment way of thinking, represented in this thread by the Buzzard and the Hawk, coming together to try and tear him apart.
One is terrified that he might actually not start pre-emptive wars, muck around in other nation's business, close 'Gitmo (for real this time) and reduce or eliminate the surveillance state.
The other is terrified that he might actually make some progress in rolling back the socialization process, reduce spending on transfer payments and start to dismantle the regulatory bureaucracy.

I wish Rand Paul a lot of luck. He's only not my first choice; but then, anyone on the first page in the Wolfeboro White Pages would be a better job than Obumbles.

Glad to hear it.
What would make him your first choice?

Really knowing who he is would make him a lot of people's choice. But most listen to the media make fun of him.

Yeah, and sometimes you have to realize, after ending up in the hospital over and over again, that you don't go around looking to pick fights.
I can't say this enough times: we're broke.
This government cannot afford the current level of welfare/warfare it is spending.
Not only is it bankrupting us, but it is costing us the very liberty all this spending and government is supposed to be protecting.
We're broke and under more surveillance than East Germany.

War has found us more than once...Notice what's raised in the Statue of Liberty's hand?
