It’s very easy (and fun) to ridicule Joe Biden as a buffoon, but there are more than a few people who take him seriously as an alternative to Hillary Clinton as Democrat nominee.  Biden fever is rising as Hillary herself is getting harder and harder to take as a serious nominee.  Scott McKay argues in the American Spectator:

But who is that anodyne, generic Democrat for whom they can shelve the ethically challenged, marble-mouthed former First Lady? There is the problem, and there is the dilemma the Democrats find themselves in as Schweizer’s shot reverberates through the countryside.

Writing in US News, Mark W. Davis argues that Joe Biden is the best alterative:

Elizabeth Warren’s firebrand style could be counted on to cement a coalition of urban liberals with, well, more urban liberals, but the Massachusetts senator’s appeal among socially conservative Hispanics and blue-collar whites is questionable."

Schweizer is claiming that there was criminal activity by Bill and Hillary, but he admitted on national TV that he didn't have a shred of evidence, and Stephanopoulos ripped him apart on his facts. (There were none)

Hillary is ahead of every other possible Democratic candidate by tens of points for the nomination, but I still think a few of the others could beat what is an extremely weak Republican field. That's why they're doing anything they can to tear Hillary down. Do you really think we need a ninth investigation on Benghazi? Eight weren't enough?

What I get a real kick out of is the fact that any Republican will try to tell us with a straight face that there are no moneyed interests controlling their agenda. They're trying to tell us that the Koch brothers and Sheldon Adelson are not pulling their strings, while at the same time they're trying to destroy Hillary for playing in the same mud bath that they are!! What a joke!! Citizens United has to go!!

The Clinton Foundation will redo a number of tax returns and audit others after Reuters found that it had inadequately disclosed donations from foreign government, the news service reported Thursday.  The foundation had claimed that it received no foreign donations from 2010 to 2013, but Reuters reported that, “several foreign governments continued to give tens of millions of dollars toward the foundation's work on climate change and economic development through this three-year period.”

Between 2009 and 2012, the Clinton Foundation raised over $500 million dollars according to a review of IRS documents by The Federalist (2012, 2011, 2010, 2009, 2008). A measly 15 percent of that, or $75 million, went towards programmatic grants. More than $25 million went to fund travel expenses. Nearly $110 million went toward employee salaries and benefits.
