You're the NHMP Officer—IV...
I saw a kid being pulled behind a [water] ski boat, an example is above. (But too slow with my camera).
Is it illegal?
You're the representative of the State...what do you do?
Question of NHMP Officer, Number V...
You've got a swimmer far from land, and a boat (and skier) ignores his presence.
What do you do? Cite the potential victim?
Re: You're the NHMP Officer—IV...
The only thing is, sometimes people and boats are closer to each other than they look when you are watching from a distance. I would never swim far from land though when it is busy. It's just plain stupid. Boats can't see you.

I'm surprised the skier can stay up at that speed! The boat isn't even on plane. (yet?)

While they are just starting, they're towing a board, which doesn't require much speed.fshnski wrote:I'm surprised the skier can stay up at that speed! The boat isn't even on plane. (yet?)
As I recall, the swimmer jumped in from that boat to instruct the girl on the board, then remained "out there". The same area is frequented by speedboats.
Anyway, who gets the ticket?
Re: You're the NHMP Officer—IV...
Fsh, a board will be towed about 18 which is just barely on plane I think for most boats. A skiier on the other hand needs to be towed at least around 28 and most prefer a little faster IMHO.

Too small would describe the boat that two NFL football players drowned with, just off the coast of Florida in the Gulf of Mexico.sumrluvr wrote:Too small.Amy B wrote:It would look even better on the ocean.

I love the early morning too. It is so peaceful. But to be out in, it is usually a little cool for me. Pretty to look at but not to be out in. I like the warmer weather. Already tonight, I can feel that fall air. I like the summer air, what little we have of it.

Everybody has dodged the question with this picture.
This boating practice is illegal in California, but not New Hampshire.
'Know what it is called in CA?

Although most people don't see the correlation, it won't be long before someone "gets it" and responds...

When APSound "gets it", you'll see why this correlation isn't all so difficult—and why California banned the practice:
Re: You're the NHMP Officer—IV...
Nice boat but how can it handle the chop in the broads? Need a bigger boat.
