I heard Christie is going to run as a democrat in the next election. Was this a rumor or any truth behind it? Wouldn't surprise me...

No he is going to remain a republican and do his best to straighten out the knuckle heads...which is just about an impossible task for anyone.

I think Rand Paul has the best vision for the future of the Republican Party as well for our nation.

It wouldn't surprise me either if Christie ran as a Dem.

How do you feel about rewarding corporations for shifting profits overseas. Rand Paul is against it.. are you?

Of course I am not for corps. shiftning profits overseas.  Who in this country is?  It's just that the gov. drives corps. away with all their rules and regs. We need to change a lot of things.

Maybe you should research what your favorite republican stands for before you praise him so much.

Every one of us needs to do a better job of listening to both sides. Only then will we be able to make wise decisions on what is best for our country.

Given Senator Paul’s obvious concern about the deficit, he might have a hard time explaining to honest American taxpayers how he justifies protecting tax evaders with Swiss bank accounts as the deficit grows ever larger.

I could not care less about that.

Besides, who are we to demand and bully sovereign free nations?

I want the NSA spying to stop.

I want the FedCoats to stop buying tanks and military equipment for every cop shop in Podunk USA to acquire and use against us.

I want the drone strikes to stop, and I don't want any flying over the USA.

I want the FedCoats to stop raiding people over drugs that are legal at the state level. (If the Feds were raiding abortion clinics, the left would be having conniptions. Just like you guys will over war and drone strikes if Team Red takes over again.)

That's just few things.

Rand will at least make an attempt to put a leash on the FedCoat monster.

Christie will not.

Which is, of course, why the system has started pushing him.

So, it remains to be seen, will the GOP rank and file get fooled AGAIN, and nominate another welfare/warfare embracing RINO dead ender like McCain and Romney?

Connecticut's Stanley Tools famously went to Bermuda because of CT's outrageous tax demands of that business.

This is one time our elected leaders should pay attention to the advice of Vladimir Putin....how scary is that?

On February 4th, 2013, Vladimir Putin, the Russian President, addressed the Duma, (Russian Parliament), and gave a speech about the tensions with minorities in Russia :

"In Russia live Russians. Any minority, from anywhere, if it wants to live in Russia , to work and eat in Russia , should speak Russian, and should respect the Russian laws.

"If they prefer Sharia Law, then we advise them to go to those places where that's the state law. Russia does not need minorities. Minorities need Russia , and we will not grant them special privileges, or try to change our laws to fit their desires, no matter how loud they yell 'discrimination'.

"We better learn from the suicides of America , England , Holland and France , if we are to survive as a nation. The Russian customs and traditions are not compatible with the lack of culture or the primitive ways of most minorities. When this honorable legislative body thinks of creating new laws, it should have in mind the national interest first, observing that the minorities are not Russians."

The politicians in the Duma gave Putin a five minute standing ovation.

If you keep this to yourself, you are part of the problem.

You seem to post a lot about how well Russia is run. Why don't you go to live there.

There is nothing stopping you or anyone else from moving to a different country.
