The number of illegal minors has skyrocketed each year since Obama deferred deportation. - Go check for yourself.

Obama has been promoting amnesty since he first took office.

Obama released thousands of illegal aliens into our country from detainment citing fund shortages and some of them were criminals.

Obama gave a stay of deportation to many of them (DACA) with work permits and just renewed it for two more years.

Obama instructed Homeland Security not to deport any illegals unless they were "convicted" criminals.

This is the reason why thousands are entering this country illegally and overwhelming our system.

The real question is: Was this orchestrated or just a result of Obama’s incompetence?

Any objective person would surmise that thousands of minors didn't just decide all on their own (and all at once) to travel all the way up through Mexico by chance and certainly not because the House Republicans didn’t come up with an immigration bill.

Did it ever occur to you that the conditions in Central America are worse than ever? No, your default position is always to bash Obama at every turn. If you read the article you would have realized that incoming immigrants are largely unaware of our protocols toward them. It's almost as if the Trafficking Victims Defense Reauthorization Act never happened. Immigration problems have been going on for 50 years and largely ignored by the federal government throughout, and now everything is Obama's fault. You do know that the congress was controlled by the Democrats in 2008 and in your effort to destroy Obama you must have overlooked that! Get real! This is a problem that everybody has to tackle, otherwise it will continue to fester.

That is simply not true.

The illegals know the protocols, they immediately turn themselves in. This is something very different.

Amnesty and the immigration policies/ ignored laws by the CURRENT administration is one cause of this massive spike.

It cannot be happening as a result of random circumstances. Something is motivating and someone is facilitating the mass migration of unaccompanied children from Central American countries through Mexico and into the United States.

Your explanation of a “spontaneous” response to conditions being “worse than ever “ in Central America doesn’t add up in the real world. Where are the parents?

It doesn’t explain how they are able to get into Mexico, a nation which has VERY strict immigration policies.

These children must then be escorted into the United States and that requires coordination, people and money.

It very much begs the question to be asked:

Did the Community Organizer have his hand in spreading the word in Central America that our borders are open and children, and those traveling with the children, will not be deported?

Obama is responsible for most of our problems. For the ones he didn't create, he has made them worse by his actions and negligence.

Our elected leaders should reach an agreement on immigration at the horizon that serves the best interests of the United States, not where it only benefits the immigrant.

That is the way it has always been and the way it always should be.

I get the securing the border thing, but that requires tons of money, and we ain't voucherizing Medicare or privatizing Social Security to make available more money for border security. Grow up, be a man and raise the amount of money you need to run the country, including securing our borders. For God's sake all I ever hear on this forum is whining about our taxes when we are the lowest taxed country in the world, and we have trillions parked offshore. Get real !

How about the children of immigrants who were born here? They are United States Citizens ! What are you going to do with their parents, rip them away from their kids ? There are mindless people out there who think we are going to go around the country and round up 11 million illegal immigrants and send them off to their homeland.
