Fireworks on Winter Harbor Celebrating July 15th?
Starting about 9:40-PM.
Some residents would probably wish they'd burned through them on the 4th.

Fireworks in Winter Harbor celebrating Bastille Day makes more sense than ANY celebration of "Cinco de Mayo".
However, the Winter Harbor fireworks haven't stopped since July 1st.
Are the perpetrators visitors from states that don't allow fireworks?

I think it was like that last year too. They celebrated all summer.

Boo Hoo It is legal in NH and you are an out-of-state summer visitor at a resort community. If you don't like it go somewhere more secluded.

So, by default, the "visitors" shooting off fireworks late at night—celebrating noise, and not Independence Day—are from Massachusetts? Or is that an unreasonable assumption?

It is legal in NH, if you don't like it change the law. Ohhhh that's right...YOU can not do that since YOU are only a Summer Visitor from Out-of-State.

"Rocketing Increase" — Hahaha
Welcome to Wally-World...
Besides, you weren't here when the "Quiet Side of Winnipesaukee" was like a State Park. Now it's Wally-World, even on weekdays. (Except right now, at 6-AM!)
I don't think Massachusetts should legalize fireworks. One MA resident arrived at the ER this year with only his pinky finger on one hand. One Maine adult died of head injuries this season. His brother went to his rescue, but said, "There was no brother left to save".
You can buy fireworks from "Three Finger Eddie's" in New Hampshire.

At 7:50, every morning, a Harley without mufflers goes up the long hill at Port Wedeln, treating half its residents to 60 seconds of "wake-up". (I hear it from a mile away).

Each summer, without looking at the calendar, it is possible to know how far away the July Fourth holiday is. Police departments begin receiving more calls from irate citizens awakened in the middle of the night by explosions, fire departments are sometimes called to put out fires started by errant bottle rockets, and doctors and nurses in emergency rooms begin seeing a rocketing increase in burns, and eye and hand injuries.
