It's just horrible. I hope all our NH runners are ok. Too bad anyone had to get hurt.

Investigators have a suspect — a Saudi Arabian national — in the horrific Boston Marathon bombings, The Post has learned.

Law enforcement sources said the 20-year-old suspect was under guard at an undisclosed Boston hospital.

It was not immediately clear why the man was hospitalized and whether he was injured in the attack or in his apprehension.

The man was caught less than two hours after the 2:50 p.m. bombing on the finish line of the race, in the heart of Boston.

In addition, Boston police have has surveillance video of someone bringing multiple backpacks to blast site, according to CBS News.

Police also confirmed that there was a third explosion, at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum. It was not immediately clear how much damage was done or whether it was related to the bombings at the marathon finish line.

The library bombing occurred about 4:30 p.m. and more than a mile from the marathon.

A law enforcement source confirmed to The Post that 12 people were killed and nearly 50 were injured in today's blast.

Commissioner Davis says no one has been arrested and no one is in custody. He says the explosion and fire at JFK Library at about 3:10pm may be related to the marathon bombs.

Cellphone coverage in Boston was cut off (don't know if it's back on or not) to prevent the possibility that a cellphone could accidentally or intentionally set off another bomb.

That report also says 12 dead. I hope not!

The number I am still hearing is 2 however multiple amputations and life threatening injuries.

The loss of life and limb could have been averted had it not been for security cuts due to the sequester of the Republicans...

While we're waiting for updates—did police suspect something was up?

"At the starting line this morning, they had bomb sniffing dogs and the bomb squad out there," he said. "They kept announcing to runners not to be alarmed, that they were running a training exercise."

He added, "I've run a lot of races like this one, but I never saw bomb dogs at the starting line of any running event. It led me to believe that something like (a bomb detonation) might have happened."

Latest numbers. 3 dead about 115 injured. Most seriously injured suffered lower extremity shrapnel wounds with other types of wounds as well. Multiple amputations. FBI is the lead agency in the investigation.

On "Patriot's Day—a Massachusetts "official-holiday" for Government employees. Massachusetts also gets an additional day "off" to file their "Productivity" tax returns.

I am still hearing 3 everywhere else too. Lets hope those in critical condition are all ok. I heard the doctor last nigh say some of them are in very critical condition.

It doesn't seem appropriate at this time to bring politics into it NH, but I have to wonder as you obviously are, how long it will be before this is blamed on that very thing. (sequester)

I see on another site one poster suggests, What can we do?, These are things to expect in a free society. I guess this is just one more thing we will have to get used to and accept.

I see on another site they are offering instructions on what to do when you or a relative are involved in the next bombing.
